Bird Focused Planting

Project overview

This project was especially meaningful, as the clients wanted to restore the bird-friendly landscape that had brought them together through their shared love of birdwatching over 30 years ago. As they entered retirement, their goal was to create a peaceful outdoor sanctuary that would attract a variety of bird species. Although the original design evolved throughout the process, we incorporated an even greater selection of bird-friendly plants to encourage biodiversity and seasonal interest. The resulting landscape was thoughtfully designed to celebrate their lifelong passion and provide a beautiful retreat for years to come.

Details

I met with the clients multiple times to discuss plant selections and guided them through a nursery tour to explore potential options firsthand. With a clear understanding of their preferences, I developed a thoughtful and cohesive planting design. I also oversaw the coordination and scheduling of the installation crew to ensure the project was executed according to the design plan.
